I read your article on CJonline and became interested in your project. I am a 17 year old lifelong Topekan. I just graduated from Topeka West and plan to attend Washburn university in the fall majoring in Film. The past five years I have been working in various play productions at Topeka Civic Theatre (TCT), Helen Hocker and Players group at Topeka West. I have produced the Senior video at Topeka West and have a passion to work in the film industry.
I noticed that you were going to work with people from Topeka when you can. I would like to talk to you about being apart of your project.
Love the fact that you want to do something in Topeka! I grew up in North Topeka, (currently living in Hoyt-10 min North of town) and I am ecstatic that you want to bring some recogniction back to your hometown!! Please keep us updated as the process comes along. I would be willing to help in anyway, as I am sure so many other Topeka natives would be too!
Hey Jeff, I think I could really help with this exctiing project. My cell is 785-633-3371. My connections and skills are abundant and I’d be honored to help with the endeavor.
Jeff,
Please keep us in the loop when you’d like to share part of screen play or are getting ready to film. We’d love to do an article promoting the process and then of course we’d love to help with screenings and such.
Check out our website and you can view some of our staffers work on “Porubsky: Transcendent Deli.”
Hi Jeff:
I’m in Topeka (my wife, brothers, sisters and son are all Hayden-ites too), and I would love to contribute some music to your picture. I have 5 cd’s out and am just finishing up number 6. I probably do harder rock than what your movie is about, but can write any kind. Any way, when the time comes let me know what you are looking for and I’ll send you some stuff to listen to if you don’t have anyone else in mind.
Thanks,
John Waldo aka Johnny Lokke
My name is Chris Lollar and I just recently became aware of your project you are going to be making in Topeka. I grew up in southwest Topeka and attended Washburn Rural High School where I become interested in video and film production. While still in high school I worked as a freelance PA for Gizmo Pictures. I have since moved to Wichita after graduating from Kansas State University, but most of my family still lives in Topeka. I was wondering if you still had any crew positions available or when you might be planning to shoot this project. Please feel free to contact me via email at lollar84@gmail.com or call me at 785-608-4048. I look forward to hearing more about your upcoming project.
